Details are unknown at this point, but when Zach showed up at our weekly basketball game this past Saturday, he couldn’t stick around and play because he broke his nose in an accident. Apparently, if he doesn’t have corrective surgery soon, he may lose his ability to smell for the rest of his life. If anybody out there is a hip-hop fan, you know how much Zach has done and continues to do for the scene here in the Twin Cities: everything from putting out albums to putting on parties to hosting battles to just living and breathing it all day every day.

There’s going to be a benefit show for him this Wednesday, October 17 at the Dinkytowner. Suggested donation is $10, which is damn cheap, considering dude has no health insurance and has to get this op pronto. There’ll be performances by The Crest, Ill Chemistry, Acoustic Beatdown, Interlock All-Stars, Ernie Rhodes, Trama, Mavin MC, Prof & Rahzwell, and DJing by Anton, Fundamentalist, Last Word and more. The show’s at 9 pm and is 21+.
